Karuta Subreddit – https://www.reddit.com/r/Karuta/ – an English-speaking place to ask karuta questions and engage in discussion about the sport.

Karuta Discord – http://www.learnkaruta.com/discord/ – “Competitive Karuta Club”, a growing Discord community with many karuta players and enthusiasts from around the world. Discussion is primarily in English, but all are welcome, so please feel free to join!

Online Karuta Club – https://www.facebook.com/groups/karutaonline – A primarily English-speaking online practice group for playing Karuta with other people from across the world using the mobile app, with occasional discussion as well.

As with all internet communities, please be thoughtful/respectful when engaging with your peers!

Karuta especially is a traditional game imbued with many elements of politeness and respect (such as bows, thanking people for reading and playing, and more), so though it is only my personal opinion, I feel we should try to uphold those values as best as we know how even as the game is played in countries besides Japan.
